NCO Shades
Can anyone put some light on this matter.
What shade of stripes would the FSSF have worn, would it have been silver on blue or the thick dark OD wool felt stripes that are sewn onto a thick blue (almost black) wool felt background.
I would like to know if you could put either or just one of them. Your thoughts

Re: NCO Shades
hmmmm
Ii was under the impression that the light shade was designed to go on the wool stuff and the M41.
The dark shade was to go on the M43 type stuff or dress jacket.
