Alright aside from Mountain pants, what other type of trousers would have been used? I asked P.L Cottingham, a member of the Force about this and he said that at Anzio and in Rome fellows could be found wearing, the mustard M1937's, M43's, Mountain Pants, and even a few pairs of M43 para riggers!!

I cannot afford a new pair of Mountain pants, and I can't find M1937's new or used in my size, so I hope I'm not causing grief by wearing my WWII used M43's!!

Can't find any evidence of M43s, as in the trousers... the Force received their jackets in transit from Aluetians to the Medd...

OD wools, yep...

Para rigger trousers, haven't got any evidence...

People do try and crowbar in any excuse to wear their gucci gear, stick the norm, ye'll be fine...

other than mountain pants.... Empty OD wools

I bought a pair of OD wools. There not what I would call "mustard" coloured, but more of a khaki / olive green. The tags all seem to indicate the correct time period, but I always thought M1937's were not so "green" looking. Any one know anything about correct shades etc ?

I always thought that USMC WWII wools were more of deep green, this pair is more of a greenish brown. I'll try to post pics.....

other than mountain pants.... Empty Possibly korean war?

Could the pants possibly be Korean war? The stampings may indicated "M-1937 pattern" but manufactured during the Korean war era.
